Any change to opening hours shall be posted in advance on NLT’s noticeboards.
1. Scope
Article 1:These rules and regulations apply within all NLT premises. They define user rights and obligations as well as the penalties incurred in case of contravention.
Article 2:NLT provides its services to users whose profile corresponds to the terms and conditions for registration categories (See Annex 2). NLT also delivers exceptional authorizations to applicants who provide proof of their specific need.
Article 3:NLT has set up the Alia Babbou reading room for children and the Louis Braille reading room for the blind, within the Old Tower Building.
2. Opening hours
Article 4: Opening hours for NLT’s administrative services and reading rooms shall be posted on noticeboards and on the NLT website as well as on its Facebook page and Twitter account (See Annex 1).
3. Fees
Article 5: All subscriptions, document requests, and other services are delivered for a specific fee to be paid to the cashier (See Annexes 2 & 3).
4. Access to, and movement within, NLT premises
Article 6: Before accessing NLT’s premises, users are required to open their bags and let their contents be seen.
Article 7: No hazardous materials (e.g., flammable or explosive materials) are allowed into NLT’s premises.
Article 8: Users are not allowed access to storerooms or to contact stock clerks or photocopying attendants.
Article 9: Access to NLT shall be exclusively through the reception hall and upon presentation of an ID to the receptionist.
