The project’s objective is to gather and scan all documents considered as Tunisiana, i.e., documents:

• published in Tunisia

• by a Tunisian author

• by a Tunisian author abroad

• about Tunisia

• all manuscripts

for the 1956-1968 period, as a first stage.

A number of scanned Tunisian titles have been published on NLT’s website to promote its rich holdings (over 100 titles).

Digital Khalduniyya represents an essential core of the virtual library to which will be added information sheets currently being developed as part of the Written Heritage Virtual Museum.
