Private libraries are an important source for building up NLT’s collections; they fill the gaps in the Library’s various holdings both in terms of document type and document medium.
NLT is beholden to its founders for donating their private libraries,from the nineteenth century till nowadays.
List of the people who donated their collections and documents since the creation of the library This list in (Arabic ) alphabetical order is published and updated in the Library’s yearly memos. NLT endeavors to complement the bios of its donors and intends to publish them in booklet form.
